First is their upcoming Wits & Wagers: Epic Geek Edition. They're changing the Wits & Wagers formula, and adding even more strategy, by giving special powers and abilities to each player. The Wizard might change the payout odds in their favor, the Vampire leeches chips off of other players' bets, and the Zombie can scare all of the other players’ bets away from their own bet. All of the questions are geek-centric, celebrating Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who and all of the other great shows, books, and movies that make up greater geekdom.
They will also have the upcoming expansion to Evolution, Evolution: Climate (kickstarting next month!). The Climate expansion adds another layer of strategy to the base game by forcing players to evolve their species - not just in response to every other player's species - but also to the environment itself! While you're trying to sustain your giant, pack-hunting carnivores in the sweltering tropics a catastrophic event can suddenly send the game deep into an Ice Age, killing off your precious food sources.
They will be demoing Evolution with and without the Climate expansion (to teach newer players).
The last game they're showing off, Happy Salmon, is a quick two minute card game that lets players get silly as they high-five their way to victory. Children, college students, parents, lawyers, and even disaffected teenagers have all had a great time helping us develop this and we can’t wait to see how many laughs we can get when people start playing.
Oh Bleep!
Race against the clock to construct as many words as possible from Game Cards. Earn points for only those words that: include, in any order, ALL three consonants in play AND have not been written down by any other player. The longer the word, the more points won. At the first sighting of an Oh Bleep! Card, be the first to shout, “Oh Bleep!” and gain advantages over other players. Watch as the Bleeped competitor has to perform comical, challenging activities during a round. Score the most points to win the game.
