Weekend Public Transit Options for Rockville Senior Center

The Ride-On route planners will probably not mention the Route 54 bus, but it's probably your best connection. Map and schedule.

Take the Ride-On Route 54 bus from the Rockville Station to the stop just before the intersection of Research Blvd and Gude Drive. Walk to Gude Drive, turn right and walk east another four mintues until you see the Senior Center parking lot to your right. Follow the path or cut across the lawn to enter one of the two Senior Center rear entrances.

Google map link.
Saturday: Typical departures from Rockville Metro Station would be 8:47am or 9:17am. Typical return departures from Research Blvd stop would be 8:58pm, 9:28pm, or 9:55pm.
Sunday: Typical departures from Rockville Metro Station would be 8:47am or 9:17am. Typical return departures from the Research Blvd stop would be 7:54pm or 8:24pm.
Here's a Google display of the route. Note that Google has you walk the long path around to the front entrance to the Senior Center, instead of simply cutting across the lawn and entering one of the north entrances, which is much shorter.

Here's the outline for Ride On 45 from Twinbrook Route (Sat. Hours ONLY):

Take the (45) from Twinbrook to (Nelson St and Crocus Dr, walk a few feet straight ahead to Crocus, right on Crocus, head up about .5 miles on a hill that gets gradually steeper, turn left on Carnation and it's on the right. About 12 min/.6 mile walk! Closest landmark is a sign for "Woodley Gardens Early Learning Campus/Swim Club" just before stop.
