Clipper.com dated 4/18/1985 10:01am (yes, their releases we're a bit delayed). Disk is copy protected with SuperLock. It looks like a second disk with Plink 86 and UTILITIES shipped with it. Files on this disk are dated up to 5/19/1985 6:02pm.
System requirements: 256K RAM, DOS 2.0 or later, and two floppy drives or a floppy and hard disk drive. Compiled applications require 256K RAM and DOS 2.0 or later. Copy protected with SUPERLoK.

5.3 Upgrade - Searches hard disk for a previous version of Clipper before installation (or will find an original clipper.exe in DOS directory). Upgrade from S'87 seems to work, for example. Includes some kind of Blinker linker. Eight 1.44MB diskettes labeled "Version 5.3 Upgrade" plus a "Light Lib Graphics Demonstration Disk". Files dated 6/20/95 5:30:00am. CACI$.DAT appears to be dated/coded to original user. It appears CA eventually stopped producing a 5.3 package with printed manuals, opting instead for a simple jewel case packaging design with online docs. The International Upgrade asks you to identify the location of your existing Clipper installation before performing the upgrade. It didn't recognize my S'87 installation.
