It has all the feel and drama of a huge battle – but one where personal courage and the intervention of great heroes also play a vital part.  Join the battle of 5 armies BEFORE the blockbuster movie is even released using classic 25 mm figures! Beginners welcome. Adult must be present with child.

The Greatest Armies that Never Were: The Battle of Schnitzeldorf, 1756!
TIME: Sat., Sept. 8, 10 am
LOCATION: M5

GM: Otto Schmidt
PLAYERS: ???
LENGTH: 4
RULES: Oh God! Anything but a Six!!! (Home)
DESCRIPTION: The Eighteenth Century in all its pomaded and bewigged grandeur unfolds for you in the opening year of the war between Princes Trixie of Saxe-Burlap und Schleswig-Beerstein , and the Kingdom of that redoubtable Soldier King, Faustus Waldemar II of Bad Zu-Wurst. In this battle the Princess' armies face the combined might of Faustus army (looks like Prussians but they're not!) And his allies, the Army of Flounce. (White coats, white flags, we surrender, please don't hurt us, you know who these are too!) The Prince of Zweibak commands the Pink-coated legions of the Princess as they take on the foremost soldier of Europe. The game is fun and fast-paced and has a broad sense of humor running through it. Come command the Frankfurter und Weisswurst Cuirassiers as they do battle against the Horse Revolutionaries and Gentlemen Insurrectionists Dragoons. Stand in the line with the Schlitz, Schmidts, and Pabst Regiments as they slug it out with the Hessee-Herbox, Hesse Hydrox, and Hesse-Hyjinx Regiments. Maneuver by minuet, war at the pace of a contretanz in this idealized vision of 18th century battle. Serious minded gamers are advised to not come within 100 paces as this game is sponsored by The Society of Daisy. But if you like fun and humor with your games, by all means come on down and play. Wild swings of fate, impossible heroics, high excitement and plenty of "portrait opportunities" for the general wishing to make a name for himself! So find out what warfare in the 18th century was REALLY like! Well...OUGHT to have been REALLY like! Quick and easy-to-learn and in 10 minutes you will be an expert.

My Four McGuffins
TIME: Sat., Sept. 8, 11 am, 1pm
GM: Bob McDonald
PLAYERS: 4
LENGTH: 2 hours
RULES/SCALE: Chain Reaction 2.0 with extensions/25 mm Pulp
DESCRIPTION:
All you gotta do is pick up an "item" downtown and hot-foot it back to the boss.  What could go wrong?  But there are three other gangs combing the same neighborhood.  Maybe they're looking for the same thing you are, maybe not.  Maybe you can leave your chopper in the violin case.  You should be so lucky.  Speed, stealth, and concealed weapons are the keys to this game. Each gang may have its own McGuffin, or maybe all four gangs are going after the same McGuffin. There's no way to tell ... until it's too late.
Rules (a house modification of Chain Reaction 2.0) will be taught, so no experience needed. The game is kid-friendly; but kids under 12 should have an adult Consiglieri. Action is fast and chaotic—you will often find you have more to do during your opponent's turn than you do during your own.

At this point they had only a dozen tanks, and some 30 other operational vehicles.  They had been promised re-enforcements for some weeks, but none were to be had, save for some of the Volkssturm militia.
